-----The broken are crying out… They are all around where you are too…
Will you go for Him?..........
*Hi beloved missed friends……
An old skinny man, Mike they call him, 76 years old, in the leprosy camp
is blind; In fact he has been so desperate that this time he stuck a
knife in his heart but it got stuck between the bones of his ribs….
**The last suicide attempts were cutting his wrist through and refusal
to eat (they put a tube in him when he was too weak to resist)… He gave
his heart to Jesus and promised with tears in his eyes never to attempt
to kill himself again…. Jesus loves him, so why would he…. This time we come again, his
eyes covered with white staring into the nothing somehow show a joy
**************
*Janet really needs prayer, (not on photo) having leprosy, she is also
fighting for oxygen most of the time we come there, she has liver
condition and has a swollen face and is in so much pain… She knows Jesus
now, we usually pray, and sing with her while rubbing her head, but it
is very hard to see her in so much pain…
We long to see them healed, but please pray that more of them may be
touched…. You tend to get close to them, they are such a precious
people…They might not have much but their spirits are rich…
***************************
----- The last three months a
lot of people in the leprosy camp have been able to become born again,
Thank you Jesus!!!!!…. --------
*We long to reach this city for Him. Cebu is the center for drugs and
sex in the Philippines, and there is so much abuse among the street
girls and boys. One in twelve boys is openly gay here and approx 95%
have been abused…We encourage evangelism and recently had a prayer day
for the Moslems with the pastors here…
---Together with Rob Boswel and some others we helped launch a 20 day
evangelism campaign, in a coliseum, someone sponsored giving the evangi-cube
to all the pastors- a real strong good tool of evangelism…
**************
-------155 churches from all over the big island of Cebu were
present!!!!!!!!!!
The afternoon in the coliseum was training on evangelism, and in the
evening Brian…. and I did harp and bowl intercession for Cebu with them…
***----------The Philippines
is known for one of the highest immigration and working visas to the
10-40 window (in the Middle East, where all the Moslems live like Saudi
Arabia, Kuweit etc. ----------***
***WHEN THEY CONVERT, SINCE THEY ARE EXPRESSIVE PEOPLE, and are sent to
the middle east, they naturally become perfect missionaries to those
Islamic nations, where missionaries usually Never are able to enter on a
missions visa….With the harp and bowl, house of prayer, we arranged
together with Sean and Guan, the launching of a 30 day prayer fasting
for the Islamic nations (which now so desperately need our prayers)…
----Many pastors came forward as a sign of surrendering their life for
reaching the lost through evangelism, there were many tears and God was
strongly present….
***Many received Christ in the 20 day campaign after through
evangelism..
************
Rebecca has now gone to the Netherlands after her high school, for
studying for nursing, her childhood dream… She is staying with Mirtes’
parents, we really miss her though.. L

*Leesha and esp. Jasmine have really grown, Leesha needed glasses, and
they are really fond of each other.. They both have also been
evangelizing with the cube and brought some children and one lady to
Jesus, for privacy sake, we’ll call her Annie…
***Annie is from Mindanao where the Muslims live, she cried the whole
day after because of so intensely feeling the love the Lord had for her
which really encouraged and touched Jasmine to continue evangelizing.
Annie has been really abused by her husband, he even put people in a
cage he owned including her (does that still happen these days!?!?!?!)
She ran away from him but he has her three children… She lives here in
the slums and has a little daughter, and the eldest of the three
recently also came to live with her… Here Annie’s little girl
Ia and Mary Fay (not Mary Jane from last time) are another two
streetkids who gave their hearts to Christ, also three little boys
Aldwin, Jayjay and Peter…
On the mountain behind our house in the slum area, 18 people gave their
hearts to Jesus, little children, and also older ones, 17,18 yrs old…
*At the dumpsite we had a day of worship with the dumpchildren and sang
songs about Jesus and they got dinner… Pray for Melchore, he is now a
pastor of the children there, a really humble lovely person who really
lives close to God…
She knows Jesus now as a personal savior
****Every two weeks we go to prison now, and last time we were able to
address a whole group of criminals, and to our joy 54 of them came
forward… -some in tears- to give their lives to Jesus, who loves them So
dearly… We have a box of new testaments ready for them next time we go
there, please pray they stay close to Jesus as they are only babies in
Christ…
****We are still coming
together with different churches 5 times a week for intercession for
this city, also with the head of Ywam, for harp and bowl intercession
for Cebu... it feels like a real privilege and we are excited to see God
already moving in different areas… something really miraculous happened
also but this letter is getting too long, will share next time if ok…
****One more thing that has
been really encouraging is that we had angelic manifestation at our harp
and bowl night on Tuesday (Tuesdays is in different churches). It was at
a very small church upstairs, and different people heard angels sing
“Holy Holy Holy” repeatedly, while others noticed the piano sound was
turning unusually beautiful, while it didn’t seem to come from Brian….
Even the drummer heard it…
Thank You God....
Some beautifull ladies with leprosy (Again, that of course this has
nothing to do with our so-called spirituality- we are not carrying halos
on our heads, don’t worry J )
Its actually really touching to see How God always works in spite of
people, not because of people… but has everything to do with His loving
sweet grace…
Jesus has us now…. (brother sister)
Even writing this letter is sometimes very hard it feels like we are
talking about all good things we do, we feel actually the opposite,-
really amazed He can use the nobodies in this world for His kingdom,
please read our hearts….
**********************
We are really excited to be in the Philippines, and really are enjoying
the unity we are beginning to see among the pastors here… We are
starting to see them enjoy each others differences instead of enduring
them…The weekly pastors meetings are awesome, because God is really
moving….
---Sometimes when we do harp and bowl in other churches, (every Tuesday)
God’s spirit works so strong, when the meeting is over most people keep
sitting and just cry - not the music but because of Him just coming and
loving on his people…. God has been showing up in our home church and at
times there is no teaching, just silence or worship… when He shows up it
feels like you want to hide under a chair, His presence is so Awsome,
yet so fearful, yet So healingly tender…..
***Pray for God to continue working at the weekly pastors meeting, God’s
spirit is really working, and tenderizing the hearts of the pastors
here…
________________________________
Pray also for protection for Leesha and Jasmine, and also for Rebecca
who is studying for nursing now..
** Also we found out that in
someones big old bus near our house that a lot of abuse happens in it
with little children, please pray as this week we are asking the owners
to remove the bus, that they will soften their hearts when they hear the
reason why…
*Thank you so much for being
part of our lives by reading this letter, and thank you sooooo much for
those who have helped us..…I believe we share the same reward because
only through you this is possible…
!!!!!!!!!!!! We miss our friends a lot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please drop us a
note or a call, (we did have one person call to us from the states,
